Two feet far from the back of another head
by Alondra Castellanos Arreola

Someone enters into a bathhouse and find themselves sitting in a warm pool among other bodies a few minutes later.

Alondra Castellanos Arreola’s (Mexico) work is at the intersection of theatre, performance and visual arts, with a particular focus on materiality, movement, the use of space and objects. Two Feet Far from the Back of Another Head features six performers who are situated in different rooms at Arti et Amicitiae. Rolling, pulling, spinning, throwing and tying themselves to one and another, the performers influence the course of events from one room to the next, entering and exiting spaces, posing through motion and attitude.

Performers: Charlotte Petersen, Masaki Komoto, Martin K. Pedersen, Yookyung Park, Charlotte Mathiessen, Luuk Weers.
