Being No One
Saturday 26 March / 20:00 h/Dansmakers

Luciënne Venner in collaboration with Jeroen Echter

Being No One is a live performance that explores how we experience individuality.
The work experiments with the relationship between perception and reality, questions the discrepancy between these two worlds and shows how the tragedy of the ego dissolves.

Luciënne Venner (1989, Baexem, The Netherlands) is a Film and Performance artist who lives and works in Amsterdam.
She researches philosophical and scientific questions by investigating the boundaries between fiction and reality.
Her work has been featured at EYE Film Museum, FOAM, Moscow Biennale of Contemporary Art, Rotterdam Art Week, Mediamatic, Arti et Amicitiae, Brakke Grond, Orgelpark, De Punt, Oude Kerk and others.
